I love it when couples come to me with ideas and inspo for their session… In this case, greg and Jody have a passion for all things moto and even better, have a love story that includes it to match! Now quick PSA - Greg is a professional rider so kids ( and togs) dont try this at home- but we wanted a rolling champagne shot and I think we nailed it! We had a local backroad that has high point visibility and east/west sun facing and Greg had his father’s classic 1975 Yamaha RD 350- combining those with a bottle of Champaign and my old skates from when I was 15 years old! All those things combined to make for an EPIC engagement session!

Small back story on myself… I wanted to shoot this shot solo- we also did this shoot on Easter so I couldn’t ask my wife or anyone else to drive me for the roller shot. I played a bit of hockey in my day so busted out the old roller skates (even though I was on ice most my life) because I knew I could keep up at 15-20mph. Small BTS video how I did it here.
